Puppetry Scheme
I worked with 5th years in CBS Westland Row on a puppetry scheme. The aim of this scheme was to design and create a marionette puppet based on the theme ‘ Spirit of the Forest’ through exploration of art elements and design principles line, texture, colour, form and movement.

School Art Garden
As part of my Action Research Project I worked with first years in CBS Westland Row to create a collaborative School Art Garden. This involved creating a 'Tree of life' mural and vertical garden made from recycled materials. The research aimed to investigate the potential of a school art garden as a strategy for raising students levels of environmental awareness.
Dry point Printing Scheme

The aim of this scheme was to create a drypoint print based on the theme ‘A sense of Place’ exploring the art elements, line, tone, texture and colour. The students kept a visual diary during the project and wrote an artists statement to accompany their prints.
Mandala Project
I co-taught a series of workshops in a Centre for Adults with Physical disabilities as part of my Special Education Needs Placement. The aim of the scheme was to explore therapeutic art practices through the creation of mandalas incorporating colour, texture and pattern. The service users initially worked on a collaborative project leading to their own personal mixed media mandalas.
Emerald Cultural Institute Workshops

During Summer 2015 I worked as an art teacher for Emerald Cultural Institute. This involved designing and implementing art workshops in a variety of centres across Dublin with students aged 12-17 as part of a multi activity English language summer camp run by Emerald Cultural Institute.
Creative Classrooms
In 2016 I had the opportunity to assist artist Jane Groves in the running of art workshops as part of Dun Laoghaire Creative Classrooms Project. We were based in Rathmichael National School. As my background is in printmaking, I have had the opportunity to lead the class in dry point printing and mono printing sessions. Click on the Image to view our blog
